This may take a bit of time and a couple trips back and forth but once you purchase the vehicle, you will be able to transfer the title into your name and obtain insurance. Once this is complete you will be able to obtain a temporary registration in PA and get a temporary license plate. Once you travel back to MA to claim the vehicle just simply put the tag on your vehicle and drive it home.

To save some time and effort you might be able to mail the check to the seller and have him mail back the title with the bill of sale so once you make the trip back to MA, you will have everything you need to drive the vehicle home.
