Global warming, caused by the emissions from the burning of fossil fuels, results in dramatic changes in our global and local ecosystems. Massive huicanes (think Hurricane Katrina) have been spawned by our warming oceans. For the first time scientists are seeing of polar bears drowning after swimming 6o miles in Artic waters. Glaciers worldwide have followed a unprecitend pattern of recedment. These and other serious problems such as major drought, flooding, and record tempatures have to be addressed now. We have heard the message and have seen the answers, it is our responsibilty to act.
