How do you drive your mother/father crazy?

    by being a successful and productive member of society. my mother spent most of my life telling me that I was worthless stupid and dirty (the actual words she used varied but a general sense of badness was implied) Now it upsets her that I am more sucessful more happy and more respectable than she has ever been.

    • good on you. keep on being successful, but for yourself...not to prove anything to her. She needs to be disciplined for her words. I had a mum who was destructive like that...Jesus changed her in the last months of her life. webpastor.com/barbara.htm

    • yeah, mine has started going to church too, but it hasn't changed the way she treats people. Now she just goes around condemning people for doing the same things she does when she thinks no one will see her
