Is the U.S. the country with the earliest digital television switchover deadline? (Or did some country like South Korea beat us to it?)

    oh, the digital switchover! what promise it holds! 'additional digital content', 'ineractive content', etc....
    translation: MORE ADVERTISING POPUPS.

    • If your TV is not connected to the Internet, no pop-ups. Over-the-air digital television is mostly about more channels and a better quality picture.

      I think you are conflating digital TV with the Internet and interactive TV somehow.
