    Doomed? No.

    I do, however, believe there is a realistic chance that the US will slip out of global power in the coming years. Other nations are embracing capitalism after seeing that socialism does not work. They are getting stronger. We have trained a nation of sheeptards to think the US is too big to fail...much like worldcom, AIG, etc. Those sheeptards think Marxist and socialist leadership is good since they have absolutely no understanding of economics. They are the majority now. It's simply a matter of time...

    *Something* will break...and one possible outcome will be the dethroning of the USA. It is also possible that once all these sheeptards bankrupt our government, they will finally get a clue when there are no more resources for the govt to take from "the rich"...thereby leaving said sheeptards with the zero bailout they deserved in the first place. At that point, they will realize they actually need to be responsible for themselves and the USA can return to it's root fundamentals of capitalism w/ minimal interference of government and be great again.

    Time will tell...these are quite interesting times.

    • America is doomed. It is time to abandon this country and head to Europe. I predict that within twenty years the American economy will have completely collapsed,and American will become the largest third world country.

    • If you think that socialism doesn't work than you know absolutely nothing about other countries governments and economies. Most Scandinavian countries are outright socialist and yet they have the highest GDPs of of any nation, the longest life spans, best health care, lowest crime, and rate their lives as happier than most all other peoples.
