Well, looking at JadeEzekiel84's links, I find the same old anti-Mormon propaganda techniques. The first link in his answer goes to a website that offers absolutely no outside substantiation for any of its claims. The links in the site only refer to other pages on that same site. As far as I can see from my perusal of the site, the author does not even cite any sources for any of his accusations. This gives me absolutely no reason to believe that he knows what he is writing about.
As for the second site, I did several web searches for more information of the case in question there. The only reference I could find that used "Mormon Mafia" in connection with the case were, surprise, surprise, anti-Mormon sites. The most unbiased account that I could find of the case (http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1G1-6977488.html) makes no mention of a connection between the Church and the case. It does make clear that Mat Perez took his case all the way to officials in Washington. So, in order to believe the claims of a Mormon Mafia in this case, you have to believe that we pretty much control the FBI. I am sorry, but I find that hard to believe. It sounds to me like more of the same paranoid ranting that I have come to expect of the anti-Mormons.
BTW, the account of this that I found most amusing was the one where the author also claimed that we implant tracking devices into our babies during their naming ceremonies. Yep, it is the same old paranoid ravings. It's just that some people have to pin their paranoia on us rather than the CIA.

"science_geek: Glenn - I find the tracking device claim to be pretty funny, and I do not give it credence. There is however a functional Mormon Mafia. You must surely know this. You all conspire to further your interests together all the time. I know that as I was raised in the Church, and I have seen it in action from both sides. You are the Liar here and you must surely know it. Is it acceptable for you to lie in the service of you Church? Obviously. The evidence is mounting rapidly. Thank you for being such a fine and shining example of what your 'faith' does for you. It helps me in my openly stated goal of helping innocents to avoid the pitfalls that your cult sets to ensnare them into being a dupe such as you are."
So, science_geek, are we also controlling the Council of Foreign Relations, The Bildaburger Group, the Skull and Bones Society, the New World Order, and the Illuminate? Did we assassinate JFK and fake the Moon landings? Your assertions have all the credibility of these other classic conspiracy theories.
