How late is too late to call someone on their house phone?

    It depends who it is. If, it's relatives and you know when they go to bed it could be different. But, normally I won't call someones house past 10 PM unless they have told me to call them.

    People call all that time at around 11 PM or 6 AM. It's usually advertisers with their recordings. I just don't get why they don't set their recordings to call at a normal time.

    • The advertizers might be in another time zone. If you live in California, and the caller is in New York, that's a three-hour difference. If the caller is in England or France, that's an 8-hour difference. The difference is still greater if the caller is in India or Pakistan. Many call centers have moved to India where labor is much cheaper than the USA
