I don't know. My instincts and fast reactions have saved my life. I don't think a computer can fuctionally look in all directions of traffic and do some of the crazy things I might have done to save my life. Like judgment a car is passing another car and headed for me I have a split second hit the car or run into a ditch I choose the ditch what would a computer have done tried to slow down the best it can.

    • I wonder about that type of scenario too. Still if such automation does not make the correct choice of action, the lawsuit which follows aught to make updates quickly. PS the GM On-Star system has been collecting accident data such as your situation for many years now so that future smart crash avoidance systems should have a good deal of data to build upon.
