How do I avoid or get rid of shin splints?

    do kenyan toe taps...have your legs spread apart and lift the point of you toe up slowly and put it down slowly. do this about twenty times and then switch between legs 3 times. doing these religiously before you run, you shouldnt have a problem with shin splints
    walk on your heels duck footed and pigeon toed and do the same on your toes for about 20 yrds maybe.
    to get rid of shin splints you have to rest them and maybe do some of the kenyan toe taps should help.
