If God had us born the way he wanted us, yet if pedophiles are born with the predisposition to, you know, be a pedophile, then Why would/does the all-knowing Almighty God allow it?

We were born with the 'freewill' to make choices,what we do with those desisions is totally and completely up to us,not God.

Oh, so it has something to do with free will. For some time, I thought that if it wasn't from one's environment after birth, then it was from their genes.

Shultz,I really don't believe that predisposition crap,we think we need excuses for what we do,but really,we just need to be responsible.People are gay,simply because they prefer the same sex,thats all.People are pedophile's because they prefer sex with children.It is just that simple.There is no reason why,it just is.

jana - Are you hetero? If so, is that simply because you prefer sex with the opposite gender? Do you think you could try sex with a member of your own sex just to see how it compares? or with a child, and animal, etc?

You have little understanding of how much influence or genetics have over us.
Every thing we are is not just a product of our upbringing and environment, but also of or genes. You do not choose to be gay or heterosexual you just are it is most likely true of paedophiles. What they are able to do is choose not to act on whatever desires they may have.
