Like most of the other answers state, no religion is "right." Many of the major organized religions have a lot of the same tenets (be kind, charitable, don't steal, etc.) However, if you were more looking for the religion that's "right" for you there are numerous ways to determine this. One way is to research religions. Since you posted this question online, I'll presume you could use the internet to help in research. If you'd like something more one-on-one, you could look in your local phone book and arrange meetings with various church leaders (priests, ministers, rabbis, etc.) Or if you'd just like to maybe narrow down your options, there's a "religion finder" type program online. If you go to http://www.selectsmart.com/religion.html and click the first selector, it will take you to a 20 question quiz about your own personal beliefs. You can even decide how important each factor is to you. Once this quiz is completed, it matches your beliefs with 25 (give or take a few) major recognized religions. The religion that most closely matches your beliefs is #1 and so on down the line. The best part of this is that you can research all of those after you're done. So, for example: I was raised Catholic, but it never felt "right" for me. I took the quiz, and matched 100% to Neo-Pagan. I could then go down the list of religions and see how I matched up with each one. If you aren't looking for the "right" religion for yourself and I interpretted the question incorrectly, then I apologize for all the space I just wasted. At any rate, I hope this helps :D

    • The selector was enlightening, good info.

    • That was a fun quiz. Proves my assertion that Islam and Orthodox Judaism are very close (100% correspondence for both!)

    • I'll give you useful, but "right for you" can still be 100% wrong in reality. Objective truth must exist.

    • Selector was fun: but it's less about what's right for us and more about what's right for God. There is an absolute truth.

    • I wish others who have rated this answer would let us in on the "truth."

    • Balogne, truth is by definition exclusive, and doesn't contradict, which religions do, so not all religions can lead to God.
