Help answer this question below.
The US is a democratic republic, in that we elect representatives who then make and enforce the laws. In a "True" democracy we'd have to have a vote on each and every law, and considering how many we have, we'd never actually get anything done. Can you imagine having to vote on the speed limit of every street in the US?
Will Americans start to move to China or India for jobs since most jobs are going there?
