Question

Help answer this question below.

I've got a cold, and I'm finding those especially low notes easier now. Now I can get even a B, though, 3 half steps below where I normally can. Do you think there's any chance this ease of range will stay after my cold is gone? (I really hope it does)

If you can still get those low notes when your cold has gone, then you have damaged yourself, get off to your doctor asap. It is not good for your vocal apparatus to sing at all when you have an infection, and although I know it's fun to explore those new low notes, the price to your vocals may be high.
