In the US the "Red Green Show" is on a public broadcasting station. Is it on a major network in Canada?

    The Red Green Show was/is carried by the CBC.
    Canadian Broadcasting Network...publicly owned.

    Note that reruns are now also carried on The Comedy Network which is part of the CTV network (not publicly funded part of Bell Globemedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Comedy_Network).

    The Red Green Show is a television comedy that aired on CBC Television in Canada and on PBS in the United States from 1991 until the series finale April 7, 2006 on CBC. Reruns currently air on CBC Television, CBC Country Canada, The Comedy Network, and various PBS stations. It was produced by S&S Productions, which is owned by Steve and Morag Smith and directed by William G. Elliott.

    • LMBO I remember that episode. That is the only corny show I have ever enjoyed. I love Steve Smith and Patrick McKenna. They had kismet. LOL Their 15 year run says a lot about the popularity of the show.

    • You should check out (if you can) a show called History Bites..it has Rick Green (McKenna has guested) in it from Red Green show and teaches you history with modern twists...

    • I know what he looks like. He has had many other roles. He is actually a good looking man. :) I don't think HIstory Bites is available here. I have never heard of it.
