    JAMMco... its complicated...

I would feel obligated to keep the child due to my views on the sanctity of life. It would be an extremely difficult thing to overcome. You cannot reject the child because genetically it is part of your lover, but not genetically yours. I would feel obligated to care for it, and raise it as my own. It is not the childs fault that his/her father was a rapist, but I would keep an eye on the child's phsycological state, since nothing is known of the father and any hereditary anomolies that may result from him.

I would not let my feelings of loathing for the rapist overshadow the feelings that my wife will be going through as having the child of a rapist inside her. If she is able to come to terms with the child and accept it as her own, how can I not come to terms and accept it as well?
