What does system 32 refer to on a computer?

    Basically what he said in normal english:

    The C:/Windows/system32 folder should not be touched if you don't know what you're doing. The folder holds hundreds of critical system files that Windows needs to run correctly. To give you an idea: My little brother once got an email (spam) saying that a file in System32 was a virus. He went and deleted it, and something stopped working (it was a few years ago). Long story short, it took me 5hrs to find the file again and get it back on.

    Basically, if you don't know what the folder is, then DONT TOUCH IT!!! I cannot stress that enough.

    • you cant get back system 32, if your brother really did delete system 32 then your computer would be dead and you would need to buy a new computer
