You're reading What causes someone to be a child molester? Why would someone do that to a child?

To tell the truth, I was abused at 5 or 6 and I molested my sis at 9 yrs old. (We are freinds again) I was just wondering why people feel this way in the first place ya know.

I konw a lot of people that have been molested and for many it does cause long lasting damage. I hope you and your sister are not one of those. (I know others who have come through it OK - but thats doesnt seem to be the norm). There is a difference between young children "playing" and molestation... If you were 9, its not the same as if you were 29 for example.... If you two are OK with each other now -thats a good sign
