Anything that promises weight loss in a day or two is more than likely just a diruetic. (Or even worse, maybe a laxative!) They'll cause you to lose water weight, but do nothing for real weight loss.

My suggestion for weight loss is to find a plan you can live with. If you can't see yourself following a diet for the rest of your life, it's quite likely not going to work for signficant long term weight loss and maintenance. I've lost 70 pounds in the last five months on Weight Watchers, and I couldn't be happier.
