Was Jesus crucified on a stake or a cross?

    the modern belief that Jesus was killed on a 't' (small t) shaped cross is not accurate, he was killed on a capital T shaped cross, known as a Tau. Interestingly, the 'small t' shape is actually an Egyptian heirogliphic meaning 'saviour', which, when translated into Hebrew, means Yahoshua, which in turn, translated into Greek, means Jesus.
