Ok you know a few big words, "antithesis", wake up, go and do the research on the word theology. Look at the word even. The study of theory. God or no god it's all a theory. So your an atheist, you've choosen to beleive in nothing. Fine whatever, that's your right. But if you wish to push this on others then at least get your facts straight and keep opinions to yourself. Oh ya, by the way, I considered myself atheist when I went though college. That's why I wrote papers on the subject. The same paper that got me my 4.0. Sorry the belief in nothing is still a brlief, can't change that no matter how hard you want to try. If one were to take your word then one would have to believe in nothing at all. Sit down and try to believe in nothing at all? Tell me how it works out for you.

    • and the fact that you would presume to pronounce that someone has a "belief in nothing" roundly proves that you have your head up your own rear, and are NOT INTERESTED in the reality of another person's view. you think you know what it is, and you know what? that's great. have it. no one cares what you think of their personal philosophy anyway. live the rest of your days completely ignorant of what someone else's "label" means. what does it matter? what you don't know doesn't hurt me.

    • Listen it's you who started slamming me for saying that people can be mislead by bad leaders. a.k.a. waco and jonestown. Now if you belief that this is not true then it's you who has the problem not me. People often miss-quote the bible for their own means. Example; your own remark the christians do not kill. More people have been "murdered" in the "name of god" then for any other reason. Now take your nut bag A** off me. Go back and read the original "questions". What you have been blathering about has nothing to do with the question. If you have NO meaningful comment stay the F off my posts.

    • Just a point of Clarification Theology is actualy the Study of God (Theo/logy:God/Study of...). But to expand Theology is the study of Questions about God and points relating to God and incompasses everything from "Is there a God?" to "How is Slavation suposed to work?" To "what is Sin" to "What is Evil?"

One other point I agree with you downdog the existance or non-existance of God (or any Divine being) is a theoretical priciple that is held to be true or not true by an individual, i.e. a belief statment. Im just saying that you can hold the "BELIFE" that some statement is True or Not True 1 or 0 and it is still a "BELIEF"
