    • The Old Testament is a collection of scriptures that Jewish Rabbis put together in order to preserve them and to provide guidance to followers. The New Testament was kind of a biography of Christ and meant as a guide for Christ's followers.
The Bible was written by man and said to have been inspired by God. Having said that, it was not 'written' by the hand of God, therefore it was filtered through imperfection.
