How can I increase my tolerance of spicy foods?

    I totally agree with ellenj22 on this. I am Korean and we Koreans eat very hot and spicy food at every meal. Literally at every meal time.
    I don't know when I started to have the spicy tastes, but I know it is not from the womb. When I see babies and young kids eating some spicy
    food, they sometimes refuse to eat it. And that refusal gradually goes away as they become older. Don't we call this an 'acquired taste'?
    That's that.
