You're reading Posters of great paintings well framed or original works by not so hot artists? Which shoould I use in my house?
Comments
Since I can't tell good art from bad art, I'd probably go with well framed copies of not-so-hot artists. It's all about the frame!

A decorator filled my living room with junk that might be produced in factories and it broke my heart. I returned it all. Your remark about framing is right, though. The framing was impriessive but every "painting" was boring and very hard to look at a second or third time. I intend to re-frame the posters or prints and spend more money on the frame than the posters. The posters are great and never bore. right now I have two Picassos, a Renoir, and Sleeping Gypsy, by Henri Rousseu.
