I agree with 'saddened' when I was a kid the 3 warning rule was in force and on the third you got a smacked arse ...everyone in my age group(50's yo 60's year olds) would have gotten the same thing and everyone and I do mean everyone grew up just fine , this new age dogooder crap is just that crap ... don't believe me then look around at the kids in the last 20years who were raised by these rules ...then tell me its worked .. no on your life and now there are many who agree with me and even some who preached this 'talking nonsense" are changing their view's

hugging a child after spanking creates an anxious child as the two behaviors leave the child confused and likely distrusting of people who hug or show affection to them.
