MG1942 Has a Life Penguin

Question

Help answer this question below.

Is it only in my line of work, or do all companies these days expect those who are able to constantly pick up the slack of inferior personnel to save labor hours with no appreciable reward for doing so, other than the right to keep your shifts?

That has been S.O.P. in any job I've ever had ever since I was 14 years old, MG...what else is new? You know I'm 70, so that's a lot of years of work. Of course companies want to get the most out of you...if you're capable and willing they will work you to death. Some, few, rare companies are employee-oriented..the vast majority are stockholder-oriented! :( That means bigger profits, of course..because the same amount of work gets done at lower overhead cost to the company.
