You're reading My grandfather always used to say: "You bet your bippy." What is a bippy?
Comments
A BIPPY WAS A HOUSE ELF IN A POPULAR BRITISH CHILDREN'S BOOK SERIES OF THE 30'S, LIKE THE ELF IN HARRY POTTER. THE WORD HAD A RESURGENCE WITH LAUGH-IN. I STILL USE I BET MY BIPPY!
