Help answer this question below.

Does it annoy you when people either keep spelling words wrong or even worse using words that they do not know the definition to? For some reason it irritates me.

    Yes it does.

    But if you're talking about people on AB, you MUST remember that AB is Worldwide and there's no age limit. For many people English is NOT their first language, and for many of THEM, they are still learning it. There are also young (I've answered a question for a 12yo) people here, and they may not have the same grasph of English that the older people do. You have to give allowances for that reason.

    The text-message questions bother me too, but I understand that some people could be ABing on cell phone, so I let THAT pass, too.

    And yes... If someone uses the wrong word, or spells it wrong, I WILL make a FRIENDLY note in my answer about the correct use or spelling.

    Don't LET it irritate you. Realize the above, and go under the assumption they are young, foreign, or using their cell to ask/answer/comment.
