I just got contacts and I'm hopeless. I just can't seem to put them in, and if I manage that I cannot take them out for the life of me. Any tricks/methods that work for you?

Actually, i had the same problem when i first got mine.This is what i would do: get a small compact mirror, or a makeup mirror sit down and get the contact on your inger and get really close the the mirrow while hold your eye open. then stick it in realy fast and then blink a couple times. and it should fit right in..and it might burn a tiny bit, but thats cause your eye has to get used to it. and it shouldnt burn any other time inless you didnt wash your hands or they are dirty :) hope i helped a little bit.

it helps me to roll my eyes upward, feel the edge of the lens and push it toward my nose.

thanks! the one time i did it, i was literally sitting there for half an hour, getting really close to my eye but never actually sticking it in. i think your quick method may be good for me!
