there are a few search engines out there that allow you to set them to only allow non pornographic content,

There is also the content advisor within IE

I personally however would recommend getitng norton Internet Security, as it not only provides parental controls by user, it provides firewall protection and antivirus protection.

within Internet Security you can set it up that different users have different settings, you simply set your computer up with another account called friends (start control panel users and groups, (make sure it's a limited account))

then install NIS, tell it you do want parental controls

go into the program, and tell it that you want users that coorespond to the windows logons.

then go in and set them to a teenager and set all of the parental settings that you want (by setting it teenager they can't modify the settings when they sign on)

it will provide firewall protection, parental controls, antivirus protection, and is WELL worth the money.

(also I would recommend getting spybot, adaware, and spyware blaster (info on their websites and what to do with them available elsewhere in this topic) if you are going to be surfing pornographic sites, so that you don't get all the spyware that normally comes with those sites.)

(they are good to have even if you don't surf those sites.)

spyware companies love to advertise on porn sites.

    Hope this helps
