Actually, this is true. Unlike Firefox, viewing pR0n sites under IE will cause IE to open MANY windows, and for every one you close, 2-5 more pop-up... or so I've heard ;)

Some other websites may also use the same window-opening code. Firefox is more secure and doesn't do this, though the blocking of that security hole also means that some pages that look fine in IE don't work in Firefox. Small price to pay for security though.
