You're reading If the Roman Gods weren't real Gods, why is the Christian God any different?

That's just your mythology.

Anti-trolled +5, I would answer you but as soon as I do your going to rate me down as many points as you can because you arn't trying to listen or learn you are just trying to attack Christianity.

That's a very good response, Anonymous. And no, that's not mythology.
It's recorded in Scripture.. And your option as to whether or not you
want to believe what was written those many years ago. But the big
proof comes from Christ himself. It's interesting how we say 'You don't
exist!' without seeking. Can't find something you're not looking for.

There's no proof that Christ ever existed, you only have your books - that's my point.

And those of us who God speaks to

"Evidence"?

And I find things I'm not looking for every day. In fact, it seems to me I have a *better* chance of finding 'em when I'm not actually LOOKING for them. Am I the only one who experiences this phenomenon? ^_^

if the roman gods were born out of mans need to understand themselves and the world around them then the christian god was made to reinforce laws on human nature. the roman gods were just as real as a christian god and the similarities between roman/greek myth and the stories in the bible are uncanny. a virgin giving birth sounds like a pagan myth. http://www.beingjewish.com/toshuv/virgin.html also the idea of a great world wide flood dates back to greek/roman mythology as well. Christianity is just an evolved for of pagan religions and adds the extra spice of controlling human behavior with laws and the 10 commandments. Christianity is outdated however and is being replaced with atheism or the atheists are actually study the idea of philosophy instead of religion. Existentialist are generally atheists that believe they create the world that surrounds them. in essence their own god. so god has evolved from many deities, to one all power deity to people realizing their is no god and if there was they are god.
