Points to you for looking for help.

Here's the deal: As much as you 'luv' him, you have someone tiny & helpless that needs you more- YOU (OK- the baby).

You need to think ONLY of YOU and the baby. Obviously the boyfriend has no problem taking care of what he wants. Him being sent to Jail is not your problem.

If he were AT ALL mature, he would have been able to resist a little 15 yr old girl in the first place. If it seems we have little sympathy for him here, it's because WE HAVE NONE. We are here for you. So LISTEN UP!

For the next 18 yrs, you cannot go pee, take a shower, run to the store, talk on the phone, or get something you left out in the car without thinking about where that baby is first. Your life, as you know it, is OVER.

This does not necessarily mean ruined. BUT it is forever changed. HIS LIFE will go on, unless you act now. Reasonably, he should help you out.

Go to mom, dad, whoever; confess, cry, allow the yelling, sit through more tears, and make a plan. Find your allies NOW. You will need support, and as you can see, we haven't much faith in daddy there, so do not waste time dreaming of white picket fences and happily ever after...

Get a child support payment agreement on paper.
If you were divorcing, the law goes for 1/3 of his income. getting an idea now of how much it will cost? And your standard of living will still not be good. Diapers and formula are EXPENSIVE.

Tell him his best bet for staying out of jail is to work full time, keep up the child support payments, and visit occasionally. Your parents will see the practical and financial side of keeping you happy, and hopefully you two will grow up before the baby catches on to the whole situation {sooner than you think- 5 yrs?) Take care, kid, and please! don't marry him !

    • I know this...but i am worried about him because i love him and im not goin to be able to go through this without him...meaning financially and mentally. For gods sake i live with him... he pays everything for me while i go to school during the day and modeling school 3 nights a week. My rents wont do anything for me. Never have...never will.

    • My rents know about him. My mom loves him to death but my dad has a big problem with him. He has a problem with everyone including his own children and wife!

    • There you go- she's your ally. Many men were brought up without much affection- it was the macho way, and they have problems being loving.

I literally taught my ex in-laws to say I love you. Had the twins [boys] say it all the time, got the ex used to hearing then saying it, until he finally said it to his dad. Then his dad learned how, etc...

Your mom can be strong and show your father by example how to show mercy and kindness... If she won't be supportive to you, but loves the boyfriend, have HIM set up a meeting, asking her for help. His vulnerability may affect her... just don't give up.

    • You don't have to spend up big on formula if you breastfeed. Breastfeeding gives baby the best start in life and is often possible. You can also save money on disposable nappies by using cloth nappies (as long as you have good access to a washing machine) and maybe just use the disposables when you go out and when bubby has a nap or during the night.
