My hard drive is formatted into two "disks"; a 20GB and an 80GB. I want to delete the second and create one 100GB disk. How do I do that?

Does copying a file multiple times, like across multiple hard drives (internal or external), corrupt or cause loss of quality?

You're reading I have a Compaq Presario 7360 computer with only 64 megs of memory and a Maxtor 9102142 10 GB HD, which is (I think) an ATA 66 device. It has Windows 98SE that came with it. What size/type(ATA100/133,SATA,EIDE,etc.) HD can I use?

Thanks for the advice. Now I know what direction to go in. I will save up and buy a box. This will give me a tremendously better system and much cheaper. I do have a couple of other questions, though. When I am financially ready for my purchase, what is the better operating system - Vista or XP (home, professional, media center, basic, premium, etc.)? I would probably go for a 64 bit processor but don't know if I should go for AMD or Intel. Do you have any recommendations on a box. I would like something that is fairly easy to upgrade.

at this stage of the game, I'd go for XP and an Intel processor.
And If I were you I'd just go to Dell.com and find something inexpensive unless you're heavily into gaming.
