I was arrested for statutory rape. The father now wants to drop the charges, but the D.A. says it's too late. Is there anything I can do to have the charges dropped?

    You can hire a lawyer to find out if you can have the charges dropped.

    ETA:
    Then your answer is "no". Perhaps next time you'll ask her age first.
