Help answer this question below.

A co-worker/friend told me that because my husband and I only gave her daughter (whom I'd met once) a $50 gift card (on top of a shower gift and a disk of photos of the shower), we should have declined the wedding invitation. What would your response be?

    Why don't you email to her an article about wedding etiquette, and it being rude and tacky to mention or even expect gifts?
