Many 'super obese' people claim it's not their fault, that diets do not work and gastric surgery is their only option. What are your views on this?

    • Keeps the majority of people healthy, yes....but morbidly obese people aren't simply overweight; It is a medical condition, and so I disagree that it is their fault.

    • I didn't disagree with the fact morbid obesity is a medical condition but I said for about 90% of people, it is their fault they are that big due to lack of exercise, bad diet etc. The other 10% should be entitled to any help they can get as it would be a horrible condition to live with when you cannot help yourself.
