Question

Help answer this question below.

Do you believe that males and females are really equal or is one gender clearly superior to the other and why. I mean in all creatures, not just humans. I do not mean that one gender is good at certain things, but in an overall way.

    There are many reasons why we females are superior. Men are designed to have very specific roles. Most of the time, it is in a supporting role to the females. In some creatures, it is simply to mate, and then the male is no longer needed. As much as guys might not want to hear it, a female life is more valuable than a male one. For example, when we catch or hunt animals as food, we mostly catch or hunt the males. In many cases, it is only leagal to catch the males. Only a few males are needed to keep a species going. If we killed the females, it would quickly kill off the species. The reality is that the females of most cretures are higher on the food chain. Did you know that in the chinese mantis, the female's diet is 65% males? She lures the sex driven males to her and mates with them if she wants to, but eats him if she doesn't want to mate. She is in complete control. Would men consider women inferior if our diet was 65% men? The truth is, even if that were the case, you guys would still want us and risk your life for the chance to get some. I guess that would give a new meaning to that apron that says "Danger, Men Cooking".lol

    • You just said that you didn't think one was better than the other. Did I change your mind? Don't get me wrong. I like guys. I just get pissed off when some egotistical guy treats me like I am lower that him. I feel like telling him we could put him in his place if we really wanted to. I sometimes picture going to the grocery store and looking up on the wall and seeing the pictures in the back for the meat sections. I see a silhouette of a chicken. I look a little farther and see the silhouette of a cow, then a pig, then a side view of a figure with a prominent protrusion about midway. lol We would keep a few around for reproductive purposes, of course. We would need bigger shopping carts, though.

    • Yikes. I wish that I could argue but you even convinced me. I just hope you don't run for president! I have a feeling you would get a lot of the women's votes and that is kinda scary for us guys.

    • I look at it like this: I consider myself clearly superior to chickens and pigs and cows, but not to a lion. I would not be in control of the lion, but I would be in control with the animals that I use for food. If you are honest, we are really in control of our guys because we have something that they want, and they will do about anything to get it. That gives us the true control.But when you consider that many female animals eat the males, that makes the relationship the same as my relationship to a chicken(well, not exactly,but close). To a female mantis, males are just another kind of meat.

    • Interesting, funny but flawed. I'll point out the flaws in a series of comments as I can't seem to post more than a hundred or two words at a time. Your arguments;

      1 A small number of males are more capable of keeping the species going than an equal number of females. Well, it takes more young, fertile females than elderly or infertile females to keep the species going. So girls of 16 would be superior to elderly women and women who can't have children.

    • 2 The 'meat' one makes man-eating bears/leopards intrinsically superior to the humans they eat.

      3 The 'supporting role'. Some species have females in apparently dominant roles, but some also have males as dominant.

      4 'we are really in control of our guys because we have something that they want, and they will do about anything to get it'. Presumably that's not serious...if indeed any of it was
