Can anyone come up with good a name for a pixie that tangles hair of little girls in their sleep? Disclaimer: answering gives me the right to use it in a book that probably won't, but may someday, be published. :p

And what do you say about Brownies in comparison and contrast to Pixies?
by Kevisaurus is a Carnotaurus today on December 24th, 2007
Brownies are a wee bit larger than pixies, but the pixies can fly and are more colorful in their attire (if they choose to wear it). In folklore, Brownies have different tasks than pixies, though both look after and care for plants and trees in a forest. Elves are also considered forest dwellers while gnomes, dwarfs, trolls, and goblins are cave, mountain or hill dwellers.
