"The Producers" in theater are money men and women, patrons of both the arts and capitalism. If you want to be a Broadway producer: become independency wealthy; let it be known that you are looking for a play to produce (via Variety or...since you're rich, you have many famous friends that can pass the word); once you've found a play written by some upstart, find a theater, rent it; hold auditions; hire a sound man, a light man, a costumer etc. FINIS.

Signed: ex-wife of a sound and lights man.
