What is non-linear mathematics?

    It's when functions that describe the behavior of lines are no longer straight (linear). They are quadratic in nature, meaning that instead of an equation like y=2x+3, you are going to have your variables raised to powers (x^2,x^3,etc.). Hope that helps.
