Because children that are homeschooled tend not to get as much interaction with other children their age, outside of siblings. Children learn how to interact with each other BY interacting with each other. It's not something that can be told how to do, just something learned by doing it. Not all homeschooled children have this problem though. It depends on how many activities the parents get their children involved in outside of the home and with other children. Some parents homeschool their children for the better education and allow them to also interact with other children, but some parents homeschool to 'protect' their children from the outside world and do not allow their children to interact with other children except in rare instances.
