Help answer this question below.

Why are the 7 most popular team sports in the world all of English / US / Canadian origin? There’s soccer/football (at least Wikipedia says the English standardized the rules.), US/Canadian football, rugby, baseball, basketball, cricket, & hockey.

    Just because we get most of media's attention!!
    We are broadcasted worldwide! I'm sure there is more african people playing some other sports and chinese people too, with different rules, but we don't see them as much... In numbers, those (unknown to me) sports are TECHNICALLY more popular :(
