Why do they say you should never date a guy that doesn't like his mother?

    Well it is a fact that parents are your first models of authority, as well as your primary model for a woman and man.

    If he doesn't like his mother, he is somehow having issues with his first Woman model and against his primary authority model. But that doesn't mean he will have trouble with ALL women. Not all mothers are likeable so it depends on the reason(s) why he doesn't like her. Is it because she's a bad parent/person in general or is it because he is angry/rebellious?

    If he doesn't like her as a person, you shouldn't have a problem. If he's just rebellious, you might have trouble imposing him anything and making firm plans with him,...
