Is there going to be a sequel to Mario Kart DS?

    Possibly. The DS is an incredibly successfull handheld, and Mario Kart DS is an incredibly successfull game. It would make sense for Nintendo to create a sequel.

    In addition to that, there were two Mario Kart games for the GBA, so Nintendo has already produced a sequel to one portable version of Mario Kart.

    My bet would be on "yes."
