Bi-sexuality among women seems to be more common than it once was. and I'm curious about the reason. Is bisexuality a common female tendency or is it just considered fashionable?

When I first realized I was bi and "came out" back in 93, it wasn't cool. Trust me.
Over the years I've seen the taboos diminish greatly.
I don't really know if there's a greater tendency amongst females to be bi, or bi-curious, but I think more people are at least open to it now. Whether this is cultural or just people finally having the moxie to not care what others think, I don't know.
I do have to say though, it's nice that (some) members of society have relaxed about it.

I agree a lot of people know about me, but my parents don't. I still hide in ways. I am married, and it's so hard not to want to be close with a girl especially when I am alone. I guess I am lucky only because I don't know what I am missing because I've only been allowed the fantasy every girl I ever liked was straight, or just wanted to be friends, and I accepted that. Then I fell in love with my husband, sometimes I think the answer to this question about if more girls are bi now cuz it's popular is that "WOMEN FALL IN THE WITH THE PERSON NOT THE SEX" does this make sense?
