and some do it because they are stuck up and conceited and alot of times the nice guy isn't their idea of hot. but that isn't all women a small handfull are like that most of them I think are alot like what you said that they think they don't deserve better

Sweetguy, you had me confused for a minute, but I understand now. Women can be just as visually oriented as men when choosing a mate. The first thing you usually know about someone is how they look, so a lot of perfectly nice guys are filtered out during the initial vetting process. I believe that, by nature, both men and women initially seek out people who are at least as attractive as they are or the best looking person their own looks will attract. It's not true all the time. When you see a beautiful woman with a mediocre looking guy, he probably has 1. money 2. power or 3.a personality that she found irresistable (the latter only happens with prolonged exposure, like at work).
Now, I'll ask a sensitive question. Is it possible that you are doing much the same? Ignoring women who are equal to you in the looks department and shooting only for extremely attractive women who might be out of your league? Please don't take offense. I don't even know what you look like.

Just to add to the above comment. When I wrote it I was thinking I was talking to the initial thread-starter. You may not be having a problem with women at all, in which case, what I just wrote is irrelevant.
