Are Lutherans considered to be part of the Protestant religion?

    Yes, Lutherans are Protestants. In fact, Martin Luther, the founder of Lutheranism, was one of the first people to "protest" against the policies and doctrines of the Catholic Church back in the early 1500's. His work led directly to the Protestant Reformation.

    • Martrin Luther took a stand against organized crime within a religious institution and exposed the tyrants. He's the original poster boy for being a "whistle-blower" of sorts. But unlike Jesus, he wasn't Hebrew..and they never nailed him to a cross as torture.
