Am I the only one who is sick of hearing the saying "it's all good"? How do people know it's all good?

It the same type of answer when someone says "What's up" and the answer is "Not much" It's small talk, people don't feel as though they should "bore" others by talking about themselves.

Saying "It's all good" can just imply "These are my problems and I don't to involve you in fixing them"

Well, thats my outlook on it and my usage of it.
