Have you read the book "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac, and what did you think of it?

    I read it about 12 years ago in college and loved it. The experience was really amplified by it being a read for a class and having the chance to openly discuss my ideas of the book and hear the interpretation from the professor and other students. It opened my eyes to a lot of the subtleties that I didn't pick up on my first time reading it. That same class opened my interests to Kesey, Vonnegut, and other writers I had not previously been interested in and really has shaped my interest in literature.
