Get a video capture card. I'm assuming you want to copy non-copyrighted material, such as home movies. ATI sells their Radeon VIVO (video in video out) for about $50. I've owned one and I love it. Comes with all the necessary software and you can even watch TV on it. Lots of extras. There are other video capture cards out there that will allow you to capture copyrighted material. But you'll have to do your own research if that is your interest.
